Merit Scholarship Information for Out-of-State International Applicants:
International undergraduate applicants to the University of Vermont, who are out-of-state residents, are considered for these merit scholarships based upon all materials and information supplied with the application for admission:
International Distinction Scholarship $10,000
International Excellence Scholarship $8,000
International Merit Scholarship $6,000
International Recognition Scholarship $4,000
Eligibility
* Admitted students are selected for these scholarships based on their academic achievements, and those selected will receive one of the scholarships based on the level of their achievements.
* No separate applications are required for these merit scholarships.
* Each scholarship is awarded for four years (eight semesters) at the amount indicated.
* Students determined to be Vermont residents are not eligible for these scholarships, and should see the section below for applicable scholarship information.
* A cumulative 2.5 grade point average and enrollment in 12 or more credits per semester is required to remain eligible for these scholarships.
Merit Scholarship Information for In-State International Applicants:
International undergraduate applicants who are determined, by UVM, to be in-state (Vermont) residents will be considered for these merit scholarships based upon all materials and information supplied with the application for admission:
