This 17 year old Nigerian Student Commits Suicide in U.S after she was accused of Cheating

Prior to her death, Adeoye was a student of Harlem High School for Math, Science and Engineering.

She is just 17-year-old and a high school student. Omotayo Adeoye, was humiliated in front of her classmates for cheating on a test. She felt so ashamed that she jumped to her death in the Hudson River last Thursday, The New York Post reports.

My guess is that the humiliation wasn't just what drove her to the edge, literally, but it was what broke the camel's back. She had been struggling with other problems (most racism) before this.

She reportedly wrote a suicide note right on her German-language exam that read, 

“I just want to go away forever on the bottom of the river.” 

Why didn't they figure it out immediately they saw it, they waited for her to go first and then use this as evidence of suicide... I'm taking it personal. 

According to the gist, Adeoye asked if she could use the bathroom but never returned. She left school premises and walked to the edge of the Hudson River and jumped in and drowned herself.
